This has got to be one of my top 5 best paintings thus far.

This one makes me happy, I like it! From the last painting, I reminded myself to limit my colors a bit more and take my time with the foreground.

Not my best, have to say.

This is another super dense painting (for such a tiny space), but I think it works.

I really enjoyed this one! My favorite part of this painting is the overall glowy vibe I was able to make.

Bob threw a curveball for me on this one: using a circle frame on the canvas.

And here we are at season 8! I introduced some more purple and consciously less green for this one.

I think with season 7, I’ve started to move past the fundamentals and began getting more comfortable painting in my own voice.

The last one of season 7, I think this one was quite enjoyable.

This one came out a lot cutesier than I intended, not sure how I feel about it.

Grey winter? Bleh. This painting did nothing to enliven me but I think I did an okay job with what I was working with.

To be honest, I really wasn’t feeling this one.

For this one, Bob brought on his son Steve as a guest painter which was a nice change of pace.

I’ve been sick for a few days (thanks to preschool germs, ugh) so I didn’t get to post my latest, but here it is!

I really enjoyed this one! Throughout this whole painting I felt really in control of what I was doing.

With this one, I wanted to keep a cooler blue palette rather than the palette Bob used.

Bob Ross brought on a guest teacher, Ben Stahl, for this portrait. I was hesitant at first because I am not used to painting portraits, but I really loved the freedom I felt with this one.

There is so much going on in this painting.

This one is so different from Bob’s typical painting.

I’ve noticed Bob has been switching up how he is painting the skies which has been a bit more of a challenge for me.
