Day 90: Season 8, Episode 2 Lakeside Cabin
Bob threw a curveball for me on this one: using a circle frame on the canvas. I had some sticky paper lying around so I was able to create the frame around my canvas with no issues. The challenge with this is that it really made me have to pay attention to the tiny space I have and to use it wisely. So, I tried to not spend too much time on each layer of land as I painted from back to front. The back is very mushy, which I think works for this tiny space. I actually really like how this one turned out because it looks great from far away. Up close, it’s a total monet which I think makes sense because it’s so small. This was a nice refreshing challenge, I think I conquered it well!
