Rediscovering the Joy of Painting through teeny tiny canvases, one episode at a time.
Season 6 Recap
When I look at the full collection of this season, I see such a significant jump in improvement.
Day 74: Season 6, Episode 12 Marshlands
There was a lot happening in this painting so I found this to be difficult at such a small scale.
Day 73: Season 6, Episode 11 Western Expanse
This one isn’t anything extraordinary, but I think it was good practice with depth.
Day 71: Season 6, Episode 9 High Chateau
I found this one to be quite challenging, mostly because of all the different levels within the background.
Day 70: Season 6, Episode 8 Horizons West
I really like my mountain but I think my foliage in the front areas could use some work.
Day 69: Season 6, Episode 7 Arctic Beauty
This one was a black canvas painting, so I did something a little bit different with my process.
Day 68: Season 6, Episode 6 Snow Trail
I think I did a good job at replicating this one. I tried to keep the distant trees and hills very misty to keep that atmospheric feel like in Bob’s version.
Day 67: Season 6, Episode 5 Secluded Forest
Helloooo can I tell you how much I LOVE how this one turned out?
Day 66: Season 6, Episode 4 Whispering Stream
If you remember from my previous paintings, these types of landscapes weren’t really my favorite ones. However, I AM happy with how much I’ve progressed since those.
Day 65: Season 6, Episode 3 Morning Mist
I think I’m getting happier with my trees lately.
Day 64: Season 6, Episode 2 Nature’s Edge
I love the depth of this one, but not a huge fan of the muddy colors I used.
