Day 68: Season 6, Episode 6 Snow Trail
I think I did a good job at replicating this one. I tried to keep the distant trees and hills very misty to keep that atmospheric feel like in Bob’s version. I think the yellow grassy areas have been improved since previous work and the blending there seems to work really well. I think what could’ve improved is my branch work on those trees. It’s tough to get a delicate branch line with acrylic because you need the perfect amount of paint and water on the brush to make sure you can get that little branch done in one swipe. I ended up over-lining them because I didn’t have enough water on my paintbrush I believe. Anyways, this is a nice one I think!
