Day 95: Season 8, Episode 7 Winter Hideaway
This has got to be one of my top 5 best paintings thus far. Everything in this painting from the background to the foreground just all works together so well and it makes me so happy. I really love paintings that give that warm glow and this one fits the bill. A big win here is that I think I have finally achieved that layered depth within the composition. Also I made sure to be delicate with my trees and really be intentional with where I placed the various colors of leaves. This whole painting works so well and I’m extremely happy with how it turned out.
