Final one of season 16 wasn’t my strongest, but it was an interesting one.

There’s something about a densely green and blue painting that I get so excited about.

If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m not big on brown/sepia paintings.

I decided I wanted a glorious sky for this, and it was a good choice.

This one was tough, since it was another one where Bob used a black canvas except for the sky area.

My new favorite thing is creating tunnels of light.

I think this one was a big win for me.

This one also pleasantly surprised me.

Typically, I enjoy these all-green forest paintings, but I don’t think I was feeling it with this one.

After having a few bad painting sessions, I am glad I got to do this one.

Looking at this, I think I should have started off with a basic green wash covering the canvas because I’m not liking how weak the colors seem in this one.

The lush blue-green forest paintings are truly one of my favorites to paint.

I’m SLOWLY getting better at creating paintings like this.

I’m sure based on personal preferences, this painting looks like a mess of fuzzy color compared to Bob’s.

It’s been a slow start to the day so I thought to do another painting this morning.

It’s been a gloomy and rainy Memorial Day weekend, so painting these lush scenes have been a nice escape.

I didn’t mean for the sky to give off a greenish glow, but it was a nice happy accident!

There is so much going on in this painting.

This one is so different from Bob’s typical painting.
