Day 177: Season 14, Episode 11 Shadow Pond
Typically, I enjoy these all-green forest paintings, but I don’t think I was feeling it with this one. I think it had to do with that Bob’s painting started off as partly all-black canvas (except for the sky) so it made me need to rethink my technique. I don’t mind it but I feel like everything turned out to be one value and just feels rather flat. My pond wasn’t too wonderful but I like my tree on the left.
