Day 231: Season 18, Episode 13 Rippling Waters
While I was creating this one, I was skeptical about how it was coming along—the more I look at this one, the more I love it. It’s quite different than Bob’s but that’s part of the reason why I love it so much. I’ve started to make some decisions with my foreground that I think were good choices - the righthand side looked like a big blob of green, so to break it up, I added some trees. I really love how the waterfall came out as well. It’s funny…as I’m painting, sometimes I have no idea how I am going to do with it but it really has to do with trusting your hand and your eye to work together. This one makes me so happy and the glowing sun in the back really makes it all come together so well. I love it!
