Day 131: Season 11, Episode 4 Hidden Stream
I’m SLOWLY getting better at creating paintings like this. I think I’ve learned to use a mix of colors as I lay down the general shape of where I want the bushes to go. Bob uses just 1 color to map out his trees and bushes but with acrylics it doesn’t work as well. You tend to end up with one big flat shape instead of dimensional color. I was pretty happy with how my big tree came out and I was better with the delicate branches on the ones behind it. The nice little waterfall was a happy little surprise as well. Overall, a really lush and magical painting.
