Day 21: Season 2, Episode 10 Lazy River
I made the mistake this time on blocking out the entire scene instead of just lightly outlining where things go…it messed up my usual progression from working on the background to the foreground. I should have stuck with Bob’s guidance a bit more in the beginning because I ended up just painting everything all at once instead of doing the gradual working to the foreground. I think my brain has been so focused on trying to improve my foreground work that it just wanted to start there (and yes, the foreground actually looks nice in this one), but I really just skipped everything else and it all looked rushed (especially the lefthand side, which just looks like I couldn’t decide on things). Anyways, I know this one doesn’t look too bad but in my head I know that the process to get there wasn’t up to my usual standards. Looking forward to the next one!
