Day 20: Season 2, Episode 9 Black & White Seascape
I’m starting to see that with every bad painting session, I follow up with an amazing one. I really do learn by little failures because I figured out what went wrong in that last painting and focused on how to adjust my technique for the next one. I planned ahead this time and focused on slowing down with the acrylics. Letting the dark base dry before I start going in on the highlights, which helped a lot with the cliffs in this seascape image. I am so happy with how my water turned out. The only thing I got frustrated on was that front wave. The swell seems to look flat after I tried to fix it multiple times, but overall I think this was a good session.
