Day 4: Season 1, Episode 4 Winter Mist
Blah. Maybe it was just my lack of excitement when I saw that I would be painting a winter snowy scene, but this one was definitely not my favorite. I love using color so when I was limited to just white, dark blue, and brown, my brain went into seasonal depression (as did my eyes). This was a challenging scene for me - and a lot of this picture ended up becoming all midtones with no real hero focal point. I guess I did make it pretty misty, though, right? I don’t totally hate the outcome of this one, but I think it could be improved upon. Until next time!
