Day 62: Season 5, Episode 13 Meadow Stream
Artist’s Note: I skipped Episode 12 this season. It featured a guest teacher painting a Native American figure and it just didn't feel right to me to recreate it. So I didn't.
Last one of season 5! I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out. I think the varying greens does a lot of the heavy lifting on this one and I found myself making sure I didn’t beat my colors to death on the canvas. With this season, I think I’ve really improved a lot when it comes to keeping a lighter hand with the colors and allowing each layer of color to breathe and work together. I still think I could work on creating depth with my color values, but it definitely has improved since previous seasons.
