Day 57: Season 5, Episode 7 Bubbling Brook
This one makes me so happy. I really love everything about it - the colors, the way the little brook flows. I have been trying consciously with this one to make sure that I’m getting some depth with the background. Up close, I wasn’t too thrilled with that progress but when I placed it further away from me when I finished, I was amazed that this one actually has some distance to it. The water is my absolutely favorite part of this painting and I think it tied it all together so nicely. The shape of the brook also doesn’t bother me like the previous ones I’ve done with streams. A success!
