Day 169: Season 14, Episode 3 Mountain Moonlight Oval
I enjoyed that new moody blue and purple palette that Bob has going here, but that tree in the front? NOPE. This was definitely not one of my favorite oval paintings but at this point, I’m trying to experiment more with how I can change up the intensity of my color values. Bob used a black canvas for this but for acrylics, that makes it a lot more challenging. I made sure to make sure the yellows were painted directly on the white canvas instead of starting with a wash in order to make it much more vibrant.
