Day 103: Season 9, Episode 2 Surf’s Up
I was so happy that we are finally going back to seascapes this season! I felt like it has been quite a while so I was a bit worried that I would get frustrated with this one. But I loved doing this one! It took some practice to get there, but I really felt like I was able to ‘let go’ with this painting. I followed along with Bob, but for the most part I trusted myself to take the wheel and lean into my expressive style. It feels great to let go of control while you’re painting. I love how my wave turned out - the sea foam has so much movement and I think I really nailed the overall feeling. Love it!
