Day 172: Season 14, Episode 6 Graceful Mountains
I think this is one of the strongest mountains I’ve ever painted to date! I think I really nailed the shadows and the highlights in this one and I really love the dark purple showing through within the peaks. With this one I also tried to dull down how much of the greens I use in the foreground and I think I got into a good groove with creating those shadows & just using yellow paint over top. I really love this one because I think I felt so in control and present while creating this. Those are the best painting sessions to have, in my opinion!
