Day 146: Season 12, Episode 6 Steep Mountains
This painting actually was interrupted by a freak storm on Friday evening. All of our power went out right when I was finishing the mountains in the back and I had to put this whole painting on pause. For the next 48 hours, I was without power and trying to entertain a 4 year old during a massive heat wave. Finally, our power was restored on Sunday and I was able to resume this. I think I might actually try to fix those teal trees in front of the mountains because I don’t think they fit with the rest of the palette…like it sticks out and doesn’t blend well with the rest. Overall though, don’t hate it.
