Day 110: Season 9, Episode 9 Mountain Path
It’s been a gloomy and rainy Memorial Day weekend, so painting these lush scenes have been a nice escape. I haven’t been a huge fan of Bob’s darker skies so I’ve been sticking with my glowy sunny skylines. I seem to keep getting into the dense-ness of the foreground foliage, but I’m starting to feel like that’s what makes me different from Bob’s landscapes. As always, I love my mountain in this as well. So much color in such a small space, and that’s how I like it.
