Day 115: Season 10, Episode 1 Towering Peaks
What a nice start to season 10, a classic Bob Ross landscape. I took my time on this one again since there were so many different planes. I wanted to get that depth right! For the foliage, I took a different approach than what Bob typically does. He usually takes one color initially and makes big general shapes with just 1 color. Whenever I would do that with my acrylics, I would run into the issue of everything looking like one big blob, no matter how many times I would add different colors to it. So this time, I used multiple colors to help distinguish each bush at first, which really helped me shape the foreground much better.
