I opted out on doing a frame for this one and I think it was the right move. I had an enjoyable painting session with this one, but I don’t think there’s anything special about this painting. It’s a typical setup - mountains, lake, and trees…I know sometimes I go rogue with these by adding more contrast or a spark of bright color, but I wasn’t feeling it for this one. Not a bad painting, but nothing special.
