Season 11 Recap

I’m starting to feel the rhythm of this project in a different way. Season 11 was a mixed bag…lots of winter cabins and a few real surprises.

Favorite Painting: Episode 10 Sunset Over The Waves I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of a dramatic sky, and this one delivered. The colors felt intense in the best way, and I finally feel like I’m getting somewhere with how I handle light on water.

Least Favorite Painting: Episode 12 Roadside Barn The sky was nice to work with but I wasn’t too thrilled with the barn. Seemed rather muddied and tiny compared to Bob’s original.

Learned The Most From: Episode 13 Happy Accident Rushing water at tiny scale is hard, and I fought this one the whole way. But something clicked with the rocks and the white water movement.
