Day 52: Season 5, Episode 2 Twilight Meadow
This one was a lesson in layering my background to get a bit more depth. Bob used a black canvas for this, but I was limited to my acrylics so I had to tweak my process a little bit. I think with this one I got a bit bravery with the darker values which helped certain things pop out better, but for some reason I keep making my lake revert to this weird shape (it’s just something I’ve been noticing with all my paintings that’s starting to bother me). Not my favorite session, but this one was a good exercise.
