Day 149: Season 12, Episode 9 Tropical Seascape
Typically, I love doing seascapes, but I really wasn’t feeling this one. I’m not sure if it is because the angle of the wave feels too uniform or maybe I just spent far too much time on trying to get the sky right. I think my main mistake was maybe just not doing a full blue wash before working on the ocean, which gave it too much of a uniform look. Also, not a big fan of my palm trees…I don’t think it all LOOKS bad, but just not up to what I was envisioning. Anyways, onto the next!
